WHO WE ARE
The Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation exists to strengthen and enrich the educational experience for every student and educator in the Mid-Del School District. Through community partnerships, fundraising, and grants, we fill the gaps that public funding cannot — so that no student's potential goes unfulfilled because of a lack of resources.
Mid-Del Public Schools has served this community for generations. The Foundation was created to ensure that passion for education doesn't stop at the district budget line. We bring together parents, business leaders, educators, and community members who believe that investing in our schools is investing in our future. Today, the Foundation supports programs across all three Mid-Del high schools — Carl Albert, Del City, and Midwest City — as well as district-wide initiatives that reach students at every grade level.
WHAT WE DO
We fund innovative classroom and program grants for Mid-Del teachers and staff through our Big Idea Grants program — applications open each August, with awards announced in a surprise school visit every fall.
From the annual Golf Tournament to our Investment in Excellence Banquet, our Signature Events celebrate our community and raise funds that go straight back to students.
We partner with the district for the annual Awards Ceremony, recognizing outstanding Student & Staff achievement across Mid-Del.
Each July, Back 2 Cool helps students start the school year ready to learn — with supplies, community connection, and excitement for what's ahead.
Our Donor Field Trips connect donors directly to the programs they support through exclusive behind-the-scenes school experiences.
